Global Economic Security and Economic Policy Analysis of Uzbekistan
The Course objectives are to introduce students the principles of global economic security and economic policy analysis at the national, regional and international levels, indicators and methods for assessing the interdependence between countries in the global economy and ensuring economic security in the context of deepening the modern international division of labor, energy, environmental, water, raw materials, food security and strategies to overcome these and other global challenges.

In the second part the main focus will be on economic security in the context of international and regional integration and the economic policy of Uzbekistan. Institutional mechanisms for sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Formation of methodological tools for ensuring financial and economic security of the Republic of Uzbekistan Strategy for sustainable and balanced development of Uzbekistan with integration into world economy and economic security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, strategies for overcoming global challenges and the main tasks of ensuring economic security of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

授業計画
*Intensive course consists of 13 classes, each 100 minutes long, within the period of May 14, 2025 and June 26, 2025. The following is a tentative schedule: 1. Introduction 2. Global Economic security and its main categories 3. Methods for ensuring the security of foreign economic activity 4. Interdependence between countries in the global economy and tasks of ensuring economic security 5. Ensuring economic security in the context of deepening the modern international division of labor 6. Energy, environmental, water, raw materials, food security and strategies to overcome global challenges 7. Economic crimes and international economic security 8. Intermediate discussions based on presentations by the students 9. Economic security in the context of international and regional integration and the economic policy of Uzbekistan. 10. Institutional mechanisms for sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan 11. Formation of methodological tools for ensuring financial and economic security of the Republic of Uzbekistan 12.. Strategy for balanced development of Uzbekistan with integration into world economic relations and economic security of the Republic of Uzbekistan 13. Final discussions based on presentations by the students of the group.
授業の方法
Lectures (10-11classes) will be the main teaching method, but a part of classes (2-3) may be allocated to intermediate and final class discussions (this depends on the format of classes we adopt). Attendance of classes and interactive participation will be taken into account for evaluation.
成績評価方法
Evaluation will be made based on homework and class work - an intermediate report (30%), a final report (30%), and short assignments associated with every lecture (40%).
