多文化共生・統合人間学講義Ⅴ

Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, and Design Thinking
In this course we will learn about, discuss, and apply theories and strategies for critical, creative and design thinking. The course will be divided into three parts. In Part 1 we will explore the knowledge, skills and attitudes considered essential for critical thinking, and we will practice the application of these traits through the critical analysis of a range of texts. In Part 2 we will practice developing our capacity as creative thinkers through a series of exercises, then apply these skills in Part 3, when we will learn about and implement the design thinking process. For this final part, students will work in groups to devise, test and present an innovative solution to a problem related to Universal Design, environmental sustainability, or other student-generated topics of interest.
