Analytic Philosophy is the predominant style of English-language philosophy, in which language and its connection to the mind and the world became a prime concern. In this course we will read a variety of important original papers from 20th century Analytic Philosophy.

Philosophers to be covered include: Moore, Quine, Davidson, Burge, Grice, Malcolm, Foot, Putnam and Sellars.

Classes will revolve around discussion of the week's reading. The class will be conducted in English.

The final grade will be based on class participation and a final essay.
