Current research in 2nd language comprehension, production, and acquisition
This course will focus on the issue of 2nd language acquisition from the point of view of the psycholinguistics of 2nd language comprehension, production, and acquisition. The class will also include discussion of 1st language comprehension, production, and acquisition in an effort to better understand how these processes take place in L2.

The exact topics covered will depend on the interests of the students and instructor.
授業の方法
This will be a seminar-style class. We will read and discuss recent research papers on a variety of topics related to L2 (and L1) comprehension, production, and acquisition. The class will be conducted in English.
成績評価方法
60% in-class discussion and presentations
40% final paper

The class will be conducted in English. While I welcome students with a wide variety of backgrounds, those who are less familiar with psycholinguistics may need to do extra background reading. Please contact me if you have any questions about the class.
