Economics of the Family
We read and discuss papers on various topics in (broadly defined) economics of the family from top academic journals. Topics include child development, women, and relevant public policies.
All students (and the professor) must read an assigned paper before each class. Students are also required to submit a one-page referee report for each paper as a preparation for the class. Each paper is presented by a participant, but everyone else is expected to ask questions or make comments.
