The topics include multiple regression, difference-in-differences, panel methods, regression discontinuity design and instrumental variable method.

All master students who wish to write their thesis in Labor economics should take this course or Empirical Microeconomics taught by Prof. Drew Griffen in fall. Students are required to use STATA or R for econometrics assignments (if you strongly prefer other software, please ask the instructor).
