Information Acquisition and Disclosure in Mechanism Design
Mechanism Design and Endogenous Information
This course is primarily designed for graduate students who are interested in the role of endogenous information in mechanism design (especially in auctions), and in either doing theoretical research in related topics or receiving formal training to develop modeling skills for applied work.

授業計画
This course mainly studies the endogenous role of information in mechanism design. We will begin by briefly reviewing auction theory. We then cover topics including but are not limited to:
(i) public/private disclosure in auctions
(ii) information acquisition in auctions
(iii) information disclosure/acquisition in (static/dynamic) principal-agent models
(iv) information acquisition and decision-making in committees
(v) information robustness in auctions
(vi) information and privacy
