Contemporary Chinese Diplomacy
This course is an introduction to contemporary Chinese diplomacy.
By reading 3 to 4 academic articles, students are expected to become familiar with some core topics of Chinese foreign policy.
Students are required to write a 2-3000 words final report.

授業の方法
In each lesson, the instructor first gives a brief lecture.
Then the students are asked to give a brief introduction to the assigned articles.
Other students are required to prepare and share a comment paper.
Discussion will be based on the presentations and comments.
At the end of the semester, students are required to write a 2-3000 words final report.
成績評価方法
Presentations 20%, Contributions to the discussion 30%, Final report 50%
履修上の注意
A good level of written and spoken English is preferred.
However, I encourage students who are not confident in their English proficiency (like me) to take the course.
Languages improve through dedicated practice, so I hope students can gain the experience to turn their difficulties into confidence.
