国際商事仲裁

企業活動のグローバル化に伴い国際商取引紛争は増大し、国際商取引に関する紛争解決方法として、国際商事仲裁が定着してきている。日本企業が当事者となる国際商事仲裁事件数も増えてきていることから、本講義においては、仲裁制度の基礎知識を習得したうえで、国際商事仲裁に関する理論的な枠組みを理解し、国際商事仲裁の各論点につき、実務的な観点から、理解を深める。仲裁実務については国際商事仲裁に精通した外国人実務家が英語により行う。
With the globalization of corporate business activities, the number of commercial disputes have been growing, and international commercial arbitration has become the most preferred choice for dispute resolution among companies conducting business worldwide. As the number of cases involving Japanese companies are increasing, this class will enable students to acquire basic knowledge of the arbitration system, understand the theoretical framework of international commercial arbitration, and understand the basics of international commercial arbitration from a practical perspective. Lectures on arbitration practices will be conducted in English by foreign practitioner who is familiar with international commercial arbitration.
