アジアの英米法系国における主要ビジネス法概観

初回に授業の進め方等についてのイントロダクションを実施する（担当：溜箭・金・後藤）。 An introductory session will be held in the first class to explain the objectives, structure, and format of the course (instructors: Tamaruya, Jin, and Goto). シンガポールの主要大学に所属する4名の客員講師により、ビジネスにとって重要な３つの法分野（会社法、倒産法、仲裁法を予定）が取り上げられる。 また、シンガポールでの執務経験のある弁護士による、アジア法実務に関する講演も予定している。 The course will feature lectures by four visiting faculty members affiliated with major universities in Singapore, covering three key areas of law that are particularly important for business transactions: Company Law, Insolvency Law, and Arbitration Law. 授業は、シンガポールからの講師やゲストスピーカーの弁護士によるレクチャーを中心としつつ、双方向の議論を交えて行われる（対面式とハイブリッドを併用する）。 なお、第１回のイントロダクション（日本語と英語）を除き、原則として英語により行われる。 参加者は、毎回、指定されたリーディングアサインメント（詳細シラバス参照）を読んだ上で授業に臨むことが求められる。 Classes will primarily consist of lectures delivered by instructors from Singapore and guest lectures by practicing lawyers, combined with interactive discussion. Sessions will be conducted in a mix of in-person and hybrid formats. Except for the introductory session in Week 1, which will be conducted in Japanese and English, classes will in principle be conducted in English. Participants are expected to complete the assigned readings for each session, as specified in the detailed syllabus, prior to attending class.

平常点（30％）および期末のレポート2本（70％）による。筆記試験は行わない。 演習終了時には、シンガポールからの4名の講師から示される４つのテーマから２つを選び、レポート２編（英文で各1,500語）を提出することが求められる。 成績をA, B, C, Fで評価する。 Assessment will be based on class participation (30%) and two final written assignments (70%). No written examination will be administered. At the conclusion of the course, students will be required to select two topics from among four themes proposed by the visiting instructors from Singapore and submit two written papers in English (1,500 words each). Grades will be awarded on a pass/fail basis.

講義は、第1回（日本語と英語）を除き、英語で行われる。 Non-nativeの学生でも理解できるような平易な用語、スピードで行われるが、ある程度のリスニングやディスカッションが可能な英語会話力は求められる。 Except for the first session, which will be conducted in both Japanese and English, all classes will be conducted in English. Lectures will be delivered at a pace and using terminology accessible to non-native speakers. However, students are expected to have sufficient English proficiency to follow lectures and participate in class discussions.
