-Each session is consisted of a substantial lecture on the subject, followed by group discussions (depending on the number of participants), and finally by the debates by the entire class. -Participants are strongly advised to read the assigned papers prior to the class

- By the term paper (80%) as well as the contributions to the debates in the class (20%) - The required term paper is likely to be a 10-page report on one of the themes introduced in the class
