Global Education Policy

Global Education Policy - From AI to Accountability
Worldwide, education systems face complex challenges to ensure lifelong learning opportunities for all. With Agenda 2030 off track, including Sustainable Development Goal Four (SDG4) on quality education, this course will identify emerging trends, gaps in evidence, analytical tools and governance models of the forthcoming global agenda for education policy and practice.

There are two core learning objectives across the seminar series: a) assess immediate and long term priorities and analytical tools for education policymaking; b) develop timely knowledge products to transform lifelong learning systems in a specific policy context.

The seminar series will include foundational and future-focused policy trends in education, including:

1. Universal Principles and Unequal Rights
2. Education Policy Analysis in a Global Context
3. Learner Data and Gaps in Monitoring
4. Collaborative Governance of Education Systems
5. AI and the Politics of Education Technologies
6. The Skyway: Futures Beyond Education 2030
