授業計画
それぞれの授業はペスト、ハンセン病、がん、HIV/AIDS などの疾病に応じて構成される。
Each lecture has its specific disease, such as plague, Hansen's disease, cancer and HIV/AIDS.
授業の方法
教員が最初に60分ほど英語で講義をして、それに基づいた英語のディスカッションを行う。
I will talk about the history of diseases for the first 60 minutes. Attendees will have discussion after the lecture.
成績評価方法
毎週、教員の講義を英語で1,000語ほどにまとめるという課題がある。それにコメントを入れて返却する過程で、英語で書く能力が確実に上昇する。
Every week, an attendee is asked to write a summary of the lecture, about 1,000 words, and send it to me. I will make comments and return the essay to the attendee.
履修上の注意
議論を英語でまとめることに集中してください。
