Social Psychology Demystified: Core Ideas and Theories
社会心理学を一般的に定義するならば，対人関係，小集団，世論についての心理学的研究ということができよう。
しかし個々の研究を集めてみても，各論や小さな仮説が幅広く見つかるものの，学問領域として共通の基盤となる全体像を掴むことができない。本講義の目的は，社会心理学の総論，言い換えれば全体を通底する考え方やアイデアについて考察することで，その本質を掴むことを目的としている。
Social psychology is commonly defined as the psychological examination of interpersonal relationships, small group dynamics, and public opinion. Nevertheless, when we examine individual studies within this field, we encounter a multitude of diverse theories and specific hypotheses. Unfortunately, this array of fragmented knowledge prevents us from comprehending the overarching framework that unites the discipline. The primary aim of this lecture is to provide a comprehensive understanding of social psychology by delving into its fundamental theories and concepts that serve as the foundation for the entire field. In doing so, we will illuminate the core principles that underlie this branch of psychology.

成績評価方法
テーマごとに定めるレポート課題(60%)と，最終レポート(40%)で評価する。
最終レポートの課題は，「各テーマを通じて最も興味深かった観点から，自分なりに社会心理学という学問を定義せよ」というものになるので，そのつもりで受講しておいてください。
The evaluation will be determined by the report assignment (60%) and the final report (40%).
The final report will require you to 'define the field of social psychology in your own terms, based on what you found most thought-provoking and intellectually stimulating in each theme.'

履修上の注意
心理学の概略的理解，研究法についての事前知識があることが望ましい。
講義中，多くの「考えるためのヒント」を提供することを心がけるが，自らの琴線に触れたトピック，キーワードについては事後的な復習，自発的な学習を期待する。
A general understanding of psychology and prior knowledge of research methods is desirable.
I will strive to offer numerous 'hints for thinking' during the lecture, but I anticipate students will review topics and keywords that resonated with them afterward and proactively study them independently.
