古代・中世から現在までの疾病の歴史と倫理を講義する
Lectures on the history and ethics of diseases from ancient and medieval eras to the present.
疾病が医学だけでなく、政治、経済、社会、文化、環境などのさまざまな要因で成立することを、具体的な事例に沿って解説する

授業計画
古代・中世から現在までをたどることと、それぞれの講義が、時代を象徴する特定の疾病を選んでいるという、二つの流れに沿って行われる
Two principles will be followed. Use the chronological framework of starting from the ancient and medieval ears and ending at the present. Another is the selective idea of picking up one or two diseases which represented the era,
授業の方法
毎回英語で講義して、その内容を英語で要約し、エッセイとして提出し、採点して返却する。
Lectures are given in English. Students summarise the lecture, write an essay, and receive some comments and the score.
成績評価方法
エッセイの得点の合計点が評価の基準となる
