Advanced ALESS I

Climate Repair
Climate change is a global issue that will take a lot more than recycling and flying less to solve. How do we, as a world, go about repairing the climate? What does it mean to repair the climate?

This course is a broad survey of climate repair. It covers climate action and climate solutions in different sectors and from different perspectives. The focus is on current events, including the UN Climate Conference, and real-world examples of climate action. Topics covered include tipping points, climate justice, policy & governance, economics, geoengineering, biodiversity, and others based on student interest. Through discussion, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of climate repair.

Students from all backgrounds are welcome to take this course.
