Introduction to "Modern Thoughts"
This course aims to read some significant texts indispensable for talking about "modern thoughts" over the last several decades, especially since 1960s. Each lecture session will be followed by a discussion session where the students are supposed to share with each other their readings of the given texts, without the intervention of the instructor. The very idea of the course is that through a close reading of these texts the students may establish for themselves a useful platform contributing to their further discussions and researches in humanities or social sciences.
