特殊講義「マクロ経済概論」

以下のトピックを扱うことを予定している。 主な内容は以下の通りである。 （１）実体経済部門　（湯浅） 　　―　経済規模の測定、経済成長の歴史、所得格差、インフレーション （２）金融部門　（田中） 　　―　中央銀行の役割、貨幣供給、金利、金融市場とその健全性 （３）財政部門　（湯浅） 　　―　公的財政の役割、歳入の源泉と歳出の目的、財政赤字と公的債務の持続可能性 （４）対外部門　（田中） 　　―　国際収支、送金、為替レート （５）経済格差　（岡地） 　　―　金融危機、国家債務危機、通貨危機の概要 We are planning to cover the following topics: (1) Real sector　(Yuasa) - measuring economic size, history of economic growth, inequality, and inflation (2) Monetary sector (Tanaka) - the role of central banks, money supply, interest rates, financial market and its soundness (3) Fiscal sector (Yuasa) - the role of public finance, sources of revenue and purposes of expenditure, fiscal deficit and public debt sustainability (4) External sector (Tanaka) - balance of payments, remittance, and exchange rates (5) Economic crises (Okachi) - the overview of financial crisis, sovereign debt crisis and currency crisis

本講義は、湯浅 啓一郎氏・田中智章氏（ともにJICAのエコノミスト）及び本学教員岡地の３名によるオムニバス形式である。対面による授業を基本とするが、オンデマンドにも対応する。 This course is conducted in an omnibus format by three instructors: Keiichiro Yuasa and Tomoaki Tanaka (economists at JICA), along with faculty member Michinao Okachi. The primary mode of instruction will be in-person lectures, but on-demand options will also be available.

参考書・参考論文は多岐にわたるため、授業中に適宜紹介する / Since the reference books and academic papers cover a wide range of topics, we will introduce them as needed during the lectures.

数式を多用しないようにするが、モデルを用いて分析した論文を解説する際には、ある程度の数学を使う。 We will try to minimize the use of mathematics; however, some mathematical concepts may be used when explaining research papers that involve analytical models.
