言語と認知II[学際言語科学コース]

概念は独立して存在するのではなく、それが用いられる状況の中で形作られるため、様々な関連する概念と有機的に結びついている。言語も同様に、文法や意味などのネットワークとして捉えることができる。この授業では、認知言語学における構文やフレームのネットワークに関する理解を深めるとともに、コーパスという言語データベースを用いて、このようなつながりに着目する「関連言語学」という新しい視点から言語を探究することを学ぶ。／Concepts do not exist in isolation; instead, they are shaped within the contexts in which they are used, and are therefore interconnected with various related concepts. Language, likewise, can be understood as a network of grammar, meaning, and other components. In this course, students will deepen their understanding of constructional and frame-semantic networks in Cognitive Linguistics. Students will also learn to use corpora (linguistic databases) to investigate language from a new perspective, “Relational Linguistics,” which focuses on these conceptual connections.
