文化人類学特殊講義b（言語人類学）

本講義では、言語とコミュニケーションを軸として、私たちの経験世界を民族誌的に記述・分析してきた言語人類学の基礎的視座を学びます。授業では、日常的に営まれる相互行為から儀礼で行われるスピーチに至るまで、具体的な研究事例を取り上げ、社会や文化が言語実践のなかでいかに立ち現れ、また変容していくのかについて検討します。さらに、私たちが生きる多様な経験世界を民族誌的に捉え、描き出すうえで、言語・コミュニケーションという視点がどのような方法論的射程をもちうるのかについて、理解を深めます。

This course introduces the foundational perspectives of linguistic anthropology, a field that has sought to describe and analyze our experiential worlds ethnographically, with language and communication as its central focus. Drawing on specific case studies ranging from everyday interaction to speech in ritual settings, we examine how society and culture emerge and are transformed through linguistic practice. We further explore the methodological reach of language and communication as a perspective for ethnographically understanding and portraying the diverse worlds of human experience.
