共通英語(Adv ALE 3)

Collage is art. Collage is form. Collage is strategy. Collage is pleasure. Collage is an option in composition.
In this course, we define collage as a playful and strategic stylistic option not only in visual art, but also in alphabetic text and multimodal composition. Through studying various kinds of collage across genres and media, we will recontextualize collage as a common form of communication that allows us to have fun and take risks in writing and thinking. Specifically, we will learn how to use collage to play and experiment with words for their own sake; to critically/creatively engage with different texts and ideas; and to both compose knowledge and unpack composed knowledge.
