分子生物学

分野の広い分子生物学の中でも特に基礎的な部分を扱い、生命現象を分子レベルで理解するための基礎的考え方を身につける。本講義では、核酸とタンパク質の基本構造および分子生物学の基礎知識を修得した後に、基礎分子遺伝学としてDNAの複製や組換え、RNAへの転写、タンパク質への翻訳について学ぶ。これにより、専門科目を理解するための基礎の一つとする。最後の２回は、外部講師による「神経の分子生物学」と「癌の分子生物学」に関する講演を聞いて討論することで、分子生物学への興味をさらに深める。
This course covers the fundamentals of molecular biology, which is one of the broadest areas of study in the field, and provides students with the basic concepts for understanding biological phenomena at the molecular level. After learning the basic structures of nucleic acids and proteins and the basics of molecular biology, students learn about DNA replication and recombination, transcription into RNA, and translation into proteins as basic molecular genetics. This will serve as one of the foundations for understanding the specialized subjects. In the last two classes, we will listen to lectures on "Molecular Biology of Neurology" and "Molecular Biology of Cancer" given by outside lecturers and discuss them to further deepen our interest in molecular biology.
