植物科学野外実習III

本実習は日光植物園と奥日光をフィールドとして、厳冬期の2027年1月29日から1月31日の2泊3日の日程で野外調査と生理学的な測定を予定している。具体的には、以下の内容を計画している。 1日目　温帯上部に位置する日光植物園で植物の観察を行う。 2日目　奥日光でスノーシューを履いて雪上を歩いて植物の観察を行う。 3日目　日光植物園で光合成や水輸送などの冬の植物の生理測定を行う。 詳しい日程については、後日、UTOLを通して周知する。12月に説明会を開いて実習の内容と注意事項の説明をし、参加者を決定する。 This field lecture will be conducted in the Nikko Botanical Garden area and Oku-Nikko area and is scheduled for three days and two nights between 30th Jan and 1st Feb 2027. We are planning the following details: Day 1: We will walk and observe the plants growing in the Nikko Botanical Gardens located in the cool temperate zone. Day 2: We will go to Oku-Nikko area where is in subalpine zone and walk on snow with snowshoes and observe the plants growing in severe winter cold habitats. Day 3: We will make some physiological measurements such as photosynthesis and water transport using the plants in the Nikko Botanical Garden. The detailed schedule will be announced through UTOL at a later date, and a briefing session will be held in November to explain the content and precautions of this field lecture and to determine participants.

実習では、日中は野外や植物の観察を行い、夕方に日光植物園の施設で結果のまとめや議論を行う。 We will conduct measurements in the field during the daytime and have some lectures or discussions in the laboratory of Nikko Botanical Gardens at night.

実習での履修態度と発表で成績評価を行う。 Grading will be based on the attitude in the field lecture and the presentation.

1. 安全上の理由から参加人数を最大で9名とする。参加希望者が9名を超えた場合には生物学科の３年生であることや植物生理生態学を履修していること、野外活動の経験やその他の科目の履修状況、志望動機などを考慮して参加者を決定する。 2. 学年によっては成績登録の時期に注意してほしい。 1. For safety reasons, the maximum number of participants will be limited to 9. If the number of applicants exceeds 9, we will prefer third-year students in the Department of Biological Sciences, enrolling "Plant Ecophysiology" in A semester, and participants will be selected based on their experience in field activities, their enrollment in other courses and their motivation. 2. Please note the timing of grade registration for some grades.

植物生理生態学を受講することが望ましい。 I recommended that the students enroll in the "Plant Ecophysiology" in the A semester.
