Observing photosynthetic light harvesting with optical spectroscopy
This course will focus on the use of optical spectroscopy to explore photosynthetic light harvesting. This will include both how nature captures and manages electronic energy, including the composition, organization, and function of the protein components, as well as the optical methods by which their function can be explored, including foundational discussions of ultrafast and single-molecule spectroscopy. Attendees will learn about how optical methods can uncover the structural and energetic dynamics of energy materials.
