地球惑星環境学野外調査II

現在を含む第四紀における地球表層の地形形成プロセスを野外で観察するとともに，その調査法を学ぶことを目的とする．特に現在と過去の海岸や低地における侵食・堆積プロセスに加え，地形と災害，生態系，人間活動との関係について実習する．さらに，これらの地形やそれに関連する堆積物の観察・編年法についても実習する．対象は，関東平野（主に鹿島・房総海岸）とする．
Modern and Quaternary Earth surface processes, including geomorphological development, will be observed through fieldwork. Especially, not only erosional and sedimentological processes at the coast, but also the relationship among geomorphology, natural disasters, ecosystem, and the human activities will be studied. In addition, methods for observing geomorphology and sediments as well as a chronological approach will be studied. The target areas include the Kanto plain (e.g., Kashima to Boso coasts).
