地球惑星環境学野外調査II

現在及び第四紀における地球表層の地形形成プロセスを野外で観察するとともに，その調査法を学ぶことを目的とする．とくに河川と海岸による侵食・堆積プロセスと．地殻変動，地形と生態系，人間活動との関係，人為改変による地形変化について実習する．さらに，これらの地形やそれに関連する堆積物の観察・編年法についても実習する．対象は，関東平野・利根川流域から鹿島・房総海岸とする．
Moder and the Quaternary Earth surface processes including geomorphologic development will be observed in the field. Especially, erosional and sedimentological processes at the river and coast, crustal change, geomorphology and ecology in relation to the human activities, and anthropogenic changes of geomorphology will be studied. Also, methods to observe geomorphology and sediments as well as a chronological approach will be studied. The target areas will be Kanto plain, Tone river, and Kashima to Boso coasts.
