Students are expected to take part in conversation activities, listening exercises, and reading discussions during each class. Oral performance is evaluated through short in-class presentations and other speaking activities, which assess pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary usage, and communicative effectiveness. Additional assessments may include listening comprehension exercises, reading comprehension tasks, and short written assignments, designed to monitor progress in language skills. The final grade is determined by an overall evaluation of the student’s engagement, progress, and performance during the semester. The relative weight of each component is as follows: attendance and participation, oral performance, and completion of assigned exercises and assessments. Detailed criteria will be explained during the course.
