応用倫理演習VI
環境思想研究
この演習の目的は、環境思想、環境人文学、環境倫理学、環境社会学、サステイナビリティ等について、政治・経済的観点を踏まえながら、批判的に考察する能力を養うことである。今期は、Environmental Humanities、Environmental Ethics、Environmental Sociology、Journal for the Study of Religion, Nature & Culture、ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environmentなどの学術雑誌の論文を読むと同時に、学術論文の形式を学ぶことを目指す。
The purpose of this seminar is to develop the ability to critically examine environmental thought, environmental humanities, environmental ethics, environmental sociology, and sustainability, with attention to political and economic perspectives. This semester, students will read articles from academic journals such as Environmental Humanities, Environmental Ethics, Environmental Sociology, Journal for the Study of Religion, Nature & Culture, and ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment, while also learning the conventions of academic writing.

授業計画
受講生の研究テーマを聞いた上で、講師がテキストを指定する。一つの論文を2回の授業に分けて熟読するので、6本の論文を読むことになる。
After hearing each student's research topic, the instructor will assign texts accordingly. Since each article will be read closely over two class sessions, students will read a total of six articles.
授業の方法
授業の前に、学生は、論文についての批判的な短い文章を書き、互いに共有する。授業中は、それらについて、討論をおこなう。
Before each class, students will write a short critical response to the assigned article and share it with one another. During class, these responses will serve as the basis for discussion.
