The Deity Beliefs in Ancient and Medieval Literature Art
-The Transformation of Mountain Beliefs －
古代から中世までの文芸テクストの中で、山岳信仰の性格や当時の社会における山岳信仰の意味がどのように描写されているのか、また、古典文芸における山岳信仰の役割とはどのようなものか、それがどのように変容していくのかについて理解を深めることを目標とする。
The goal is to deepen understanding of how the character of Mountain Beliefs and its meaning in the society of the time are portrayed in literary texts from ancient times to the Middle Ages, as well as what the role of Mountain Beliefs in classical literature and art is and how it was transformed.
