認知言語学の諸問題：デジタルと非デジタルの世界／ Topics in Cognitive Linguistics: Digital and Non-digital worlds
Let`s discuss cognitive linguistics in the context of the multimodal world surrounding us today. Do you think you can use cognitive linguistics to analyze SNS material or for AI? This course is for students interested in the basics of cognitive linguistics and its interconnection with digital in different forms: digital as material, as a method, or as a form of research dissemination and reproducibility.
At the end of this course, you will have a broader knowledge of cognitive linguistics and an understanding of interconnections between cognitive linguistics theory between the reality of contemporary digital and non-digital worlds.

授業の方法
The main language of the class is English, discussions between students are possible in Japanese.
For each class students will read one main reading in English (within 25 pages).
During this course, we will have regular in-class discussions based on the homework readings and your ideas.
The mid-term assessment is a short presentation of student's ideas for the final essay. The final assessment is an essay on a topic related to the topics discussed in this course (approx. 2000-2500 words in English or 3500-4000 in Japanese).
授業の言語は英語ですが、学生同士のディスカッションは日本語でも可能です。
毎回の授業の宿題として、英語で書かれたリーディングを一つ読むことです。（25ページ以内）。
授業中、宿題のリーディングと各自のアイデアをもとに、クラス内で定期的にディスカッションを行います。
中間評価は、期末レポートに向けた生徒のアイデアの短い発表です。最終評価は、本講座で取り上げたトピックに関連したテーマについてのエッセイ（英語で約2000～2500語、日本語で約3500～4000語）です。
成績評価方法
