博物館資料論（美術工芸品）

概要
博物館・美術館の学芸員には、その美術館・博物館が所蔵する博物館資料に対して、きわめて専門的な知識と取り扱いのための高度な技術が求められる。本講義では、多種多様な博物館資料のうち「美術工芸品」を取り扱う（「美術工芸品」とは、文化財保護法に定められた文化財のうち、特に有形文化財から建造物を除いた、絵画、彫刻、書跡、工芸、考古などを指す）
博物館・美術館の学芸員は、博物館資料を、調査・研究によってその価値を正当に評価し、それらを適切に保管・管理し、さらにそれらを多くの人に知ってもらうための展示・普及を行わねばならない。その責務の範囲は、現在を生きる人々だけではなく、それらを伝えてきた過去の人々と、それらを享受する権利を持つ未来の人々にも及ぶ。本講義では、博物館資料とは何か、博物館資料の収集・展示・保存の考え方、その技術などを、現場の実態に即して講義する。博物館資料については、担当者の専門である日本の彫刻を中心に、調査・研究、保存、輸送、展示などについても取り扱う。


Curators have to require high professional knowlodge and specialied skill to handle with museum's matelials which are belong to museums. In this class, museum's materials mean art objects.
Curators are needed to have ability to reserach to identify materials, to manage them under the proper condition, and to inform to a lot of people how important they are through exhibitions and educations. They should be responsible for not onfy the modern but also the past and the future. In this course, we will discuss about what museum's materials and how to document their history, how to exhibit them, how to save them based on my experiences.


目標
①　博物館資料（美術工芸品）について理解する。
②　博物館資料（美術工芸品）の調査・研究、保存・管理、展示・活用、教育・普及といった学芸員に必要とされる事項について理解する。

Course Objectives
1, understand what museum's materials are.
2, requrire knolewge about reserach, conservation, exhibition, and education which are needed for curators.
