Academic WritingⅡ
"Academic Writing II" (a continuation of "Academic Writing I") is designed to help graduate and undergraduate students read and write academic essays in order to participate in the academic conversations that form the intellectual community. This course gives special attention to the practices of academic essay writing as well as close reading, rhetorical analysis, research, collaboration, and writing revision.
By writing multiple drafts of sentences, paragraphs, and essays ranging in theme and length, students will learn that writing is a process of forming and refining their ideas and their prose. Rather than approaching writing as an innate talent, the course teaches writing as a unique skill that can be practiced and developed.

授業の方法
This is a face-to-face course, and you will need to attend class and submit all classwork on time. There will be some reading and writing activities along with the group and individual projects. We will discuss and write English as much as we can during the semester. The syllabus is subject to change.

* You will be automatically disqualified for earning credits by missing more than three classes.
