(Yamamuro) Physical chemistry of glass and supercooled liquid (Koyasu) Structures and reactivities of metal or semi-conductor clusters
(Yamamuro) There are still many unsolved problems in the physical properties of glasses and liquids. Particularly, the glass transition, that is a freezing phenomenon at a finite temperature through a supercooled liquid, is the most mysterious and important problem. In this lecture, basic theories of the glass and liquid are explained and related thermodynamic and X-ray/neutron scattering studies are presented.
