Case Study (Japanese Macroeconomic Policy: Solutions to Monetary and Fiscal Policy Challenges)

This course will provide sound basis for research on the Japanese macroeconomic policy (both monetary policy and fiscal policy), with reference to other countries, emphasizing its practical aspects. It will cover a wide range of background knowledge from policy framework in practice, economic assessment and data analysis to the current policy settings.

成績評価方法
Grade will be based on class participation(30%), presentation and a report(70%). The students are expected to make a presentation in English and submit a report in either English or Japanese.
