Health Policy and Governance
This course would introduce the fundamental structure of health systems, especially the role of health policy and governance in achieving higher performance. Six most common global health issues are selected, each is followed by the introduction of typical response adopted in various countries or on a global scale. By the end of this course, students would be expected to be familiar with key global health issues and corresponding policy options, as well as to be able to apply the analytic frameworks and practical tools presented in this course to identify and address problems in health systems.
