地球規模感染症制御学I(Global Infectious Diseases Control Science I)
新型コロナウイルス、デング熱など、地球規模で深刻化する感染症を克服する方法を確立することは急務である。感染症対策は、医学・獣医学領域のみならず、デバイス開発（工学）や、灌漑・治水・水質浄化（農学）等の他分野の連携が必要である。一方で、光触媒は、酸化還元反応を促進することから、有機物や細菌を分解することが可能で、環境問題を中心とした身の回りの様々な局面で利用できる。本講義では、感染症について概説するとともに、幅広く共通に有効性を示す光触媒の効果を紹介し、その感染症への適用法について考察する。
The establishment of control measures for infectious diseases spreading worldwide such as the corona virus and the dengue virus, is an urgent task. To fight with infectious diseases, multi discipline collaboration in addition to medical and veterinary fields, with device development (technology), irrigation, water control (agriculture) and others. The titanium dioxide photo-catalysis generates hydroxy radicals and super oxide. Thus, photo-catalyst conduct degradation or sterilization of organic materials and germs. In this lecture, overview of infectious diseases and photo-catalysis will be explained. Furthermore, the application of photo-catalysis to infectious disease control will be discussed.
