This is a class that introduces people to the practical process of design - you will learn the basic methods that designers go through in creating ideas and developing products or services.
これは、デザインの実践的なプロセスを紹介するクラスで、デザイナーがアイデアを生み出し、製品やサービスを開発する際の基本的な手法を学びます。

Do you ever look at things in the world and wonder why they aren’t better; do you ever catch yourself dreaming of a different world and trying to imagine how it could be real? Are you relentlessly curious; do you crave for change and are not satisfied with ‘good enough’; are you never put off by failure and unstoppable in the pursuit of perfection? You should be, and you can be. Design is a force for change and you could be the change maker – in this class you can learn the basics of the design process - everyone and anyone can design, and change the world. 授業の方法
Who is this class for? It is for those people interested in: - Creative idea generation techniques for design. - Design innovation for real world markets. - Experiencing the teaching style of the DLX Platform What do you need to join? - An enthusiasm to learn (this class is open to all, you don’t have to be from a design background or know anything at all about design) - A collaborative attitude, the workshop will be carried out in teams.   このクラスは誰のためのものですか?以下に興味のある方が対象です。 - デザインのための創造的なアイデア創出技術。 - 現実世界の市場のためのデザイン・イノベーション - DLXプラットフォームのティーチングスタイルを体験したい方 参加するには何が必要ですか? - 学ぶ熱意(このクラスは誰でも参加可能で、デザインの経験や知識は必要ありません) - 協力的な姿勢(ワークショップはチームで実施します。)
成績評価方法
You will be evaluated on: Engagement - Participation and involvement with the class Creative Output - Design ultimately is looking for good ideas developed well, so even in this short class the outputs you create through the class and at the end are important. グレードで評価です。 エンゲージメント - クラスへの参加と関与 クリエイティブなアウトプット - デザインは最終的に、良いアイデアをうまく発展させることを求めているので、この短期間のクラスでも、貴方がクラスを通して作るアウトプットと、最後プレゼンは重要です。

Miles Pennington is professor of Design Led Innovation and helps direct a unique international innovation lab at The University of Tokyo – the DLX Design Lab (www.designlab.ac). Previously he was at the Royal College of Art in London and was Head of Programme of the Innovation Design Engineering (IDE) joint Masters programme with Imperial College. In the past in parallel to his academic work he was a Director of the London office of the innovation consultancy Takram (www.takram.com)
