半導体
半導体
Semiconductors
Semiconductors have been playing the central role in industrial development races, simultaneously being a subject of most advanced modern physics. In the last quarter of a century, we have frequently used them as building blocks for a wide variety of quantum structures, which also contain diverse "universes" inside like kaleidoscopes. The universes always draw our attention for the exploration.
In this series of lectures, the very basics for such explorations and also some magic for applications of semiconductors to our everyday-life are introduced (they are not so fantastic at first glance) with very brief presentations of leading-edge topics.
