Introductory course in linear algebra
Students will study the properties of vectors, matrices and determinants as well as the concepts of abstract vector spaces and linear maps on such spaces. Various applications of these concepts will also be presented.

授業の方法
Traditional lecture style using the blackboard. Handouts will be provided in the classes during the semester. A few classes will be set for exercise sessions.
成績評価方法
Written examination at the end of the semester.
履修上の注意
Taking notes in class is strongly recommended. Students are required to provide their own notes on asking questions about the materials covered by the lectures.
