International Criminal Law and Human Rights
The issues covered include the background and origins of international criminal law and international human rights law; the array of tribunals at the regional, supranational, and international level; the jurisdiction of these tribunals, the norms of human rights and international criminal responsibility; and the challenges of holding actors accountable for rights violation. Through readings and class discussions, students will examine the legal problems surrounding the issues
