授業の方法
The course begins on June 11 and lasts for 4 weeks. For each week, there will be four lectures (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and one lab session led by a teaching assistant. The course will be taught in English.
成績評価方法
The assessment is based on the problem sets and the final exam.

The following books are recommended: Imbens, Guido W. and Rubin, Donald B. (2015). Causal Inference for Statistics, Social, and Biomedical Sciences: An Introduction, Cambridge University Press. Angrist, Joshua D. and Pischke, Jorn-Steffen. (2009). Mostly Harmless Econometrics: An Empiricist’s Companion, Princeton University Press.

履修上の注意
This course requires the solid background of probability, statistical theory, and R programming. Students should make sure that they master the materials covered in the following two books: * Blitzstein, Joseph K. and Hwang, Jessica (2014). Introduction to Probability, Chapman & Hall / CRC. * Imai, Kosuke (2017). Quantitative Social Science: An Introduction, Princeton University The course also requires students to spend a large amount of time outside of class on assignments.
