国際日本研究特論XXV

Psychology of Language
In this course, we will investigate how the human mind learns, comprehends, and produces language, at multiple levels, including the phonetic, phonological, semantic, syntactic, morphological, and pragmatic levels. We will also learn about the tools and techniques used by psycholinguists to investigate the properties of the mind and language. Students will become familiar with:
•- The major questions investigated by psycholinguists
•- The tools and techniques used to investigate these questions
•- The evidence that has been found using these techniques
•- The implications of this evidence for our understanding of how the mind learns, represents, understands, and produces language
