有機化学II(構造論)/ Organic Chemistry II(Structure)
This course aims at acquiring knowledge about the structure and reactivity of organic compounds. The class will discuss theory, spectroscopy, chemoinformatics, nomenclature, history and recent progress, along with organometallic and supramolecular chemistry. Students must have already passed Organic Chemistry 1. Basic knowledge on transition metal chemistry and quantum chemistry is also required.

成績評価方法
Grades are determined from reports, checkpoint exams, three mid-term exams and a final exam. Grade plan = final exam (70%) + 3 mid-term exams (22.5%) + 1 report (7.5%) + checkpoint exams/quiz (5%). Excellent (優)100−80,Good (良)79−65,Fair (可) 64−50. No makeup exam.

有機化学1相当の理解を前提とする.It is assumed that you have a grasp on the material of Organic Chemistry 1.

Office hour: The office is open for questions. Come up to the Physical Organic Chemistry Lab (room 2508) on the 5th floor of the Chemistry West Build. (Isobe) or Ikemoto's office (room 2509) on Mondays and Thursdays. Making appointment by emails in advance is basically preferred.
