Analysis of Japanese Education
日本の教育研究
Education serves multiple purposes in any society. It provides training and knowledge of specific information, the “basics” if you will. In addition, education also reflects what a given society considers important for future generations to know in order to be a functioning member of that society. In this course, we will consider the expectations and outcomes of Japanese education by looking at both intended and unintended outcomes. Further, we will consider how the education system provides for those who do not fit within this structure.
