(Interdisciplinary Studies and Artificial Intelligence)]
Recent explosion of scientific knowledge due to the rapid advancement of academia and society makes it difficult for humans to recognize overall picture of knowledge. In the lecture, MIMA Search, an issue-oriented automatic knowledge structuring system, in which natural language processing and artificial intelligence such as machine learning are integrated, is introduced. The system is already used practically as issue-oriented syllabus structuring of the University of Tokyo’s Open Course Ware and University of Tokyo’s lecture catalog.

■概要(Summary):
In 2017, the virtual currency attracted a great deal of attention. It really became known as the "year of virtual currency". Virtual currency can be remitted immediately from anywhere in the world, even small amounts, with a low fee. Payments using virtual currency are based on a technology called blockchain. In this lecture, I would like to think together what kind of fields will be impacted in the future while understanding the basic technology of blockchain.

Shibuya Development ―towards the Creative Entertainment City―
■講師(Lecturer):
Masafumi Ota, Deputy Executive General Manager, Ph.D.
Development Headquarters, Urban Development Business Unit, Tokyu Corporation
■概要(Summary):
Now, in Shibuya, large scale construction works once a century are progressing. It is highly expected that Shibuya plays a key role to enhance the status as a “World City” under the city promotion strategy of Tokyo towards the Olympic Games in 2020. In this lecture, Shibuya is adopted as a typical case of the “TOD” (Transit Oriented Development); i.e. public transport oriented town development. It will be discussed about significance and assessment of public-private-partnership investment towards the next generation under keywards of “Creative” and “Entertainment”.

Lena Okajima, CEO / Founder
ALE Co., Ltd
■概要(Summary):
ALE is the only space entertainment company in the world who challenges to make a shooting star. ALE provides artificial shooting stars using micro-satellites for clients in the live entertainment industry while using its artificial shooting stars as a vehicle for scientific research. Our shooting star can be seen from a diameter of 200 km, if it is the metropolitan area it will be content that 30 million people can see at once. While mentioning the situation surrounding the space start-up and the space industry in the world, I will tell you how to realize this from the technical and business side.
