化学特別講義VIII
35606-1108 化学特別講義VIII Special Lecture on Advanced Chemistry VIII
化学専攻と工学系化学３専攻（応用化学専攻、化学システム工学専攻、化学生命
工学専攻）が連携し、理工の枠を超えた教育と国際性豊かな人材育成を目指し、
外国人招聘教授や国内の専門家による最先端化学に関する講義を行う。
The Department of Chemistry and the three chemistry-related departments at
the Graduate School of Engineering (Department of Applied Chemistry,
Department of Chemical System Engineering, and Department of Chemistry and
Biotechnology) jointly provide lectures on cutting-edge fields of
chemistry, with the goal of transcending the boundary between science and
engineering to enhance education and foster young researchers with global
perspectives. Lectures will be given by invited professors from abroad and
specialists from Japan.

授業の一部で、Brainstorming を行います。
Objectives: Brainstorming Exercise (part of the second day)
・Put yourself as a process chemist and come up new ideas* (based on the first part of the class; hit in slide 4)
-What is the most straight-forward method for a target medicine?
-What would be most economical method for a target medicine?
・Targets are selected mainly from Top 200 sales medicines (except MSD) in 2012 as attached. The majority of medicines routes are documented in “医薬品の合成戦略”.**
* Typically, an idea is simple. However, a simple idea leads new chemistry quite often.
** I will provide you what I think the current method at the first day (or you can easily study with SciFinder by yourself). We need to go further over what are reported, so it is not necessary to read this book for this class.
