位置天文学特論III
General relativistic astrometry and celestial mechanics
We shall describe the basic part of astrometry and celestial mechanics within the general relativistic framework. The current high precision observations in astronomy and geodesy demand a highly accurate theory to desscribe the motion of photons and massive particles in the Universe. This inevitablly requires the construction of new astrometry and celestial mechanics being fully compatible withe Einstein's general theory of relativity and some other possible relativistic theories. In the course, we focus on the equation of motion of photon and masspoints and their approximate solutions. Especially, we show how the solution of photon's motion results a better replacement in many terms in the Newtonian astrometry.
